Salem Fitness Center is now offering Women's Self-Defense Class!

Objectives:

  • This is a two-session comprehensive course offered as one-hour class on two consecutive weeks…enabling women to feel the security and confidence to confront and control physically uncomfortable situations.
  • This course will provide the information and some basic self-defense moves to stop quickly and effectively a real or potential attack.

The two classes will cover attitude and mind-set for anticipation, preparation and execution of self- protection. Various strike points of attack, escape from strong, would-be assailants as well as a fundamental understanding of timing and distance that should be used in a potentially dangerous situation.

Hopefully you will never have to use these techniques…but you should be well-prepared ! The 6 PM course starts on Monday, September 14 and concludes on Monday, September 21. The course is only $45.00 with a minimum of ten registrants.
